PALAZZO BENZON is set on the Grand Canal overlooking a superb view of the Rialto Bridge. One can watch the movements along the Grand Canal from the two living room balcony-windows. Palazzo Benzon was built in the 17th century by the Counts Benzon. It is very famous for the the literary circle that was once presided over by Marina Querini-Benzon and frequented by Canova, Lord Byron, Foscolo and Stendhal.
The apartment you have chosen offers a breathtaking view of some of the most famous palaces that lay just before your eyes. The "mezzanine" apartment on the first floor comfortably sleeps four people. There is one bright master bedroom and one bedroom with two single beds, bathroom with bathtub, dine-in kitchen, dining room, spacious living room and storage room. Private entry.
It is furnished with valuable furniture and lovely antiques. The apartment is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, large-screen TV, stove. Close to S. Mark's Square, the Fenice Theatre, museums, restaurants and food stores. Guaranteed to make your trip to Venice the most memorable stay you have ever experienced. Travel Details Take vaporetto number 1 headed towards S. Marco and get off at the stop named S. Angelo. Leaving the vaporetto boat dock, walk straight to the small Campo dell'Alboro. There you will find a small hotel called Hotel dell'Alboro. To the left of the hotel you can see a small canal. At the canal you can only turn right. Walk another 5 meters along this canal to the first bridge. Cross the first bridge and then straight ahead you will then see a second bridge. Continue walking straight ahead and cross that second bridge. (This street called Calle Pesaro.) After having crossed the second bridge, take the first left which is Calle Benzon. All the way down to the last door towards the Grand Canal, on the left you will find address number 3929 with the doorbell which reads Donato Donati where a warm welcome awaits you.
