Our 5* luxury apartment is within the Glitter Bay resort in Barbados. It is ideal for families with children, or for a couple seeking a romantic holiday.
The two bedroom apartment is spacious and sleeps up to 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children. It has views over the swimming pool and beautiful tropical gardens,is located on the famous Glitter Bay beach and has glimpses of the caribbean ocean 50 yards away.
There is a lounge with large sofa, and 42" Plasma satellite TV and DVD player. There is an Italian white/granite kitchen with large oven, fridge/freezer, and microwave. The apartment has a very large balcony with dining table, chairs, and L shaped sofa seat. There are two luxury marbled bathrooms (one en-suite); one with large walk-in shower, and the other with bath/shower.
The front bedroom is large and very romantic with a 4 posted bed, sleeping 2. It has TV and DVD player, and an ensuite luxury marbled bathroom with large walk-in shower.
The second bedroom is also large and romantic with a wooden bedhead, and 2 beds able to be made into a king bed or twin beds. This room looks out over lovely trees towards the sea. It can sleep 2 (plus a child on an extra bed if requested). It also has a TV and DVD player.
The apartment has been designed to 5*+ standard, with porcelain floor tiles, marble bathrooms, Italian kitchen, and hand made furniture throughout. The apartment is on the first floor.
The apartment is situated on one of the best and most beautiful beaches on the famous west coast of Barbados. It is surrounded by extensive tropical gardens which include an adult pool and a separate childrens pool.
Glitter Bay has been included in many high quality travel brochures, and was featured in House & Garden magazine in 2003. The Glitter Bay resort provides free wifi internet access (you need your own laptop), main and childs swimming pools, tennis courts, beach loungers, beach towels, and beach bar. We provide a 6 day/week cleaning/maid service.
Guests staying at Glitter Bay are able to use the 5* Fairmont Royal Pavillion ( a 2 minute beach walk next door) hotel restaurants and bars.
Water sports are available on the beach (at a small charge), and the apartment is close to golf courses.

Area Details
The apartment is about a mile from shopping at Holetown which can be reached by bus or taxi in 5 minutes. There is also a wide selection of restaurants nearby including the world famous “Cliff” restaurant (ranked 8th best restaurant in the world).
Glitter Bay is within easy access of golf courses.
Please note that there is some construction work on a new house at the private property next to the Glitter Bay estate. This is across the Glitter bay grounds, but some construction noise may be heard during your stay. In our view, this noise is not excessive nor disturbing. It cannot be heard from within the apartment, and can barely be noticed from the apartment balcony or the beach.
Travel Details
A car is not necessary. A taxi service runs from the Royal Pavillion hotel, and there are local buses that run from outside the entrance to the Glitter Bay condominiums.
